Life as a Photography Student

Sorry for the lack of post over the summer months. I did some light travels and a summer course at George Brown for photography during the summer. After some extensive research, I decided to pursue my interest in photography further, and see where it would take me. George Brown College offered 1 introductory course in photography during the summer, so I decided to take it. I wasn't sure what to expect, whether or not I would enjoy school again or photography on a whole new level.

So juggling between work, travel, school and enjoying the summer months, left me with little time to update this blog. Now it's back to school, work and no life for me. LOL. I will have more time to update this blog.

I am currently enrolled in Fashion Photography. It is an elective course for my certificate. Most students tend to take the electives after completing a few of the compulsory courses, but I, on the other hand, decided to take this right away. I mapped out my entire certificate and to finish within a year, I had to take this course now. I have no prior studio experiences before this week. My first day in the studio was overwhelming. I survived with the help of the models, classmates and teacher.

Lighting was a bit difficult to perfect, if there is such thing. I wasn't sure how the studio lightings would affect my photos. Only upon reviewing the photos in Bridge and Photoshop, I realize my photos were a bit too dark. I had to make a few basic exposure corrections in photoshop for the photos to turn out the way it is on my flickr site or my new photography site. Please review and express all comments and opinions. I welcome all, as it will help me improve my skills.

Here are some to preview.
